임 문 우 목사
Moon Woo Limb, Pastor

임문우 목사는 친척 중 3명의 목사가 있는 3대 크리스천 가정에서 태어났지만 하나님에 대한 확신이 없었습니다. 그러나 20세에 주님을 인격적으로 만나는 극적인 체험을 하게 되었고, 그 후 30년 가까이 치과 의사로 살았습니다. 주님은 그런 그에게 항상 하나님의 나라와 의를 추구하는 삶을 살게 하셨지만 늘 목마름과 아쉬움이 있었습니다. 그래서 주님을 더 알기 위해 신학을 공부하던 중 아내가 일본 선교사로 헌신하게 되면서 자신의 마지막 삶은 아내를 도와 주님의 일에 헌신하는 것임을 깨닫고 치과를 접게 되었고 COVID-19 팬데믹 시기에 미국으로 이주하게 되었습니다. 
 
Although Pastor Limb was born into a Christian family spanning three generations, with three pastors among his relatives, he lacked certainty in God. At the age of twenty, he had a dramatic encounter with Christ, and was born again. During Pastor Limb's career as a practicing orthodontist, God continually led him to pursue His kingdom and His righteousness, but Pastor Limb often felt a thirst and longing for a closer relationship with God. While studying theology, he came to realize his true calling in assisting his wife, who had already devoted herself as a missionary in Japan. After nearly thirty years, he left his practice behind and during the COVID-19 pandemic moved with Pastor Kang to the United States.​

강 은 혜 목사
Grace Kang, Pastor

반 기독교적인 환경에서 자란 강은혜 목사는 남편 임문우 목사의 전도와 결혼을 통해 신앙생활을 시작하였습니다. 놀라운 은혜와 은사를 통해 급속히 신앙이 성장했고 30대 후반에 거듭나는 체험을 하게 되었습니다. 그 후 국제 통역사와 대학교수로의 직업을 내려놓고 신학교에 들어가 목사가 되었고, 온누리 교회 부목사와 일본 선교사로서 섬기다가 COVID-19 팬데믹 시기에 자녀들이 살고 있는 미국으로 이주하게 되었습니다.​
 
Having grown up in a family of nonbelievers, Pastor Kang began her journey of faith in Christ when she met her husband Pastor Limb. By the grace of God and his blessing, her faith grew rapidly, and she experienced a profound renewal in her late thirties through a transformative encounter with the Lord. She left her positions as interpreter and university professor to dedicate her life to Christ as a pastor, first serving as an associate pastor at Onnuri Church in Korea and then as a missionary in Japan, until she finally immigrated to the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Irvine Restore Church

두 목사는 미국에서의 삶을 시작한 후, 가정에서 기도 모임을 시작했는데, 부흥과 회복의 역사를 경험하며 하나님으로부터 개척에 대한 강력한 부르심을 받게 되어 Irvine Restore Church라는 이름으로 교회를 시작하게 되었습니다.​

After starting their life in the United States following the pandemic, Pastors Kang and Limb began weekly prayer gatherings at their home. As their gatherings grew with the Holy Spirit, the congregation bore witness to spiritual awakening and restoration. Rising to the Lord's call to establish a fellowship in Irvine for worship and prayer, the pastors laid the foundations to Irvine Restore Church.
